What if I don't know how to read my vets paperwork? We understand that is is hard to read the veterinary lingo of vaccines.
Below is the acceptable variations. If you still need help, please call us at 570-646-6012

AND WE CANNOT BOARD ANY PET WHO IS NOT CURRENT ON A RABIES VACCINE.
What if my pet is not used to new people,
has some fear aggression/reactivity, anxiety or dog reactivity?
We understand that some dogs are fearful.  This may require some minimal or extensive visits to the kennel for a trial/evaluation.
This can only be done Monday through Friday and cannot be scheduled on a weekend.

Trials and evaluations will be at the discretion of Camp KCS.  We will determine based on these evaluations whether or not the pet will be suitable for kenneling.

Camp KCS reserves the right to refuse kenneling for any dog that we feel may pose harm to themselves or any staff member.

Do I have to bring food with my pet?
We always suggest bringing your pets own food.  Abrupt dietary changes can cause gastrointestinal issues.  In order to ensure simplicity of feeding times, as well as making sure that your pet(s) have the proper amount of food for their stay, we will be installing a new policy.

All clients bringing their pet(s) to Camp KCS for Boarding or Daycare will be required to pre-package and label all their pet’s feedings.
A Pre-bag fee will apply with having your own food that the staff must pre-bag.

If you choose not to bring food, we will supply dry food only (Fromm Classic for dogs or Purina for cats).  A Pre-bag fee will apply.

Any special dietary feedings like wet/can food or if your pet has allergies, you would have to bring that with you.

What happens if my dogs must be separated for feedings? There is an extra charge per day for supervising or separating your dogs for feedings.

The following are options for you.
You may have to book two kennels.
If we have to supervise or separate for feedings there is a $10.00 per day charge.

What if my dog(s) are on medication? There is no charge for basic medication. This means simple oral form
medication that can easily be put in there food or other easy means of transport.

If your pets medication is difficult or extensive, there is additional charges for that.

Please make sure your pet has not been to their veterinarian 10 days prior to boarding.
In the event they must see their Veterinarian within the 10 days for medical reasons,
please request a Doctors note (we require this if they have been to the vets office)
stating that your pet does not have any contagious medical issue or that they have not
been exposed to any contagious medical issue.
What items may I bring with my pet?We welcome most items that would make your pet feel more comfortable
(i.e. toys, blankets, bed, treats)
We cannot take rugs, mattresses or large blankets that are not easily washable.

We also do not suggest bringing bowls, we have plenty of them and are easily
misplaced when removed for cleaning.

However, we will use elevated feeding stations for large dogs, so if you use one
of them please bring it with your pet.
How often is my dog given the opportunity to relieve himself? We walk your dog at least three times daily. This allows them to relieve
themselves and receive plenty of one-on-one interaction.
Will my dog have exercise while they are there? We have a fenced in back yard for exercise and play. In addition,
we also have an indoor play area when there is inclement weather.

You can schedule daycare/play/exercise to ensure your pet gets the daily
exercise you want them to have (see Pricing) for added daycare to boarding.
Would I be able to visit my dog while they are there?
Yes, you are more than welcome to come visit your dog or even take
them out for a while.  Visitation must take place outside or you can take
them for the day.  Inside the kennel visitation is not allowed, as there is

Can my dogs board together in the same kennel? Yes, in most cases there is never an issue. However, dogs can act differently in a kennel environment.
If they exhibit any signs of aggression with each other we may be forced to separate them.

Dogs who are typically fine with each other at home but are agitated by new dogs in the
environment can exhibit what is called transfer aggression. This typically makes the other dog
in that kennel a target.
What happens if my dogs have to be separated?
If your dogs must be separated during their stay, we will do that to
protect both dogs. The multiple pet discount will no longer apply. You will also be required
to book multiple kennels on all future boarding's.
Can my dog & cat board together in the same kennel? Unfortunately, they cannot board in the same kennel.

However, there is a discount on the kitty if they board at the same time.  This discount is 20% off
